The Choir Goes to Nashville

Image
Tennessee Capitol  Each spring, the high school choir takes a trip just for fun.  Last year they went to Disney.  This year they went to the ultimate choir destination - Nashville.  If you are at all interested in music, there are few better places to go.  Anna joined in the trip that involved leaving the school at 11 PM on March 13 for an overnight bus ride to Nashville. The choir trips are all about minimizing any missed school and maximizing the amount of time to enjoy wherever they are going.  Hence - the overnight bus rides (not to mention it is easy to keep track of a bunch of high school students if they are confined to the bus).  After an 11 PM departure, they arrived on Thursday morning in Nashville to a full day.  Highlights of the trip included: A tour of downtown Nashville Visiting honky tonks and enjoying endless good bands A tour of RCA studios A line dancing lesson A visit to the Country Music Hall of Fame (this included a special Taylor Swift Educational Exhibit) Attend

The Sunday before, she met up with her friends Pauletta, Kristy, Klara, Joy and Trisha for an afternoon at a Rage Room.  This is where you get to play loud music (bring on the 80s tunes) and break things.  Plates, glasses, computer monitors, an organ.  They provide ball bats and sledge hammers or you can just throw things against the wal
