Happy Pi Day to Grandpa!

Grandma, Anna & Grandpa
March 14 is international Pi Day.....and Grandpa's birthday.  We concluded that Grandpa has been around longer than Pi Day, which was founded by Physicist Larry Shaw in 1988 (for those math folks out there, Grandpa was celebrating his 76th birthday).  What better way to celebrate than a trip to Ohio?  Fortunately Anna had a long weekend, so we did just that.

Anna was looking forward to seeing her Grandparents - especially so that Grandma could help her with her goddess costume for World Civilization Day.  We enjoyed good food and a relaxing weekend.  We were able to view the Hawaii pictures (somehow Grandma managed to get a sweatshirt for Anna in her suitcase).  Joe took the opportunity to make all of the necessary computer updates for Grandma and Grandpa, complete with a training session.  Of course no trip would be complete without some Anna/Grandma shopping time, which yielded a new dress for Anna.  The weather cooperated and we were able to get out of Ohio in March with only a few snow flurries (that is an accomplishment).

Happy Birthday Grandpa!
